Last night we competed with the national basketball team and beat them by a sizable amount. Our coach and director of the trip were able to meet the basketball federation and government officials of the city. At the game, our host got to even sit in the VIP section with the government officials!
Fridays are like Sundays here so we went to church this morning. This is the only church in the city where they are able to speak freely about their true faith found only in Jesus Christ.
We have another game tomorrow against the national team of Senegal. We watched them warm-up and they do look very athletic.
Thanks for praying about some of the girls--they are recovering from colds and catching up on sleep. Continue to pray for Natalie and Callie, as they aren't feeling well.
