Close Competition Under the Lights

We played the Senegal national team on Saturday night and were welcomed by 3000 fans. The game was high competition and very physical but we came away with an eight point win. At the end of the game we got front seats with the top officials of Senegal to watch the men's game and then the award's ceremony followed. Megan recieved MVP of the tournament and the whole crowd cheered! After the game we were invited to a banquet with the Sengal men's and women's team. This opened up another opportunity for our host family to interact with a lot of new people in the country.  A native here told us we were the first American team ever to travel to this country and they would love to have us  back along with other teams. We ate with the teams and even danced with them! We were obviously the better dancers (just kidding!). We're off to our first clinic this morning and we'll be back later to write more! Thanks for reading!

That a way, girls!!! Congrats on the wins. More importantly congrats on the inroads you have made. You are having an immediate impact and and are paving the way for others to follow in your footsteps. Using your God given talents to please the giver of those talents and impact others for Christ truly must be a sweet aroma to Him. You make us all very proud!
