We were so fortunate to be able to travel towards the Mediterranean Sea and play a team
down there. The girls we met were an absolute joy and so gracious in the spirit in which
they played us. It was definitely our most challenging game since our time in this holy place
and the AIA team rose to the occasion and played with a spirit and a passion that left
and impression on all those observing. After the game we were able to freely interact with
the team and share the principles that we have built integrity around. When the match
was over we were all treated to a dip in the sea and met several very unfriendly local
jellyfish. It was a very moving moment to share a victory on the land and celebrate
together in the sea. Some very priceless friendships have formed on this team over
the past 3 weeks together and each person is going to be missing each other and the
all the new friends they have made on this journey. Tonight we leave for Jerusalem
to gather at the Mount of Olives to close our trip in a time of feasting, prayer, and
thankfulness for the many blessings we have encountered on this journey.
