3-0 plus a visit to a local orphanage

Last night we played our third game and won 83-58.  We were led by the hot shooting of our big men.  Caleb Knepper came out of the gate firing in multiple three pointers ending the evening with five.  His early spark allowed the team to set the tone and grab the lead.  Myles Daley once again led the way with 31 points.  His vast array of dunks, jumpers, and creative post moves have proven to be more than most teams can handle.  Defensively, Mitch Cain and Bobby Huck were all over the place with their effort and tenacity.  Tonight we travel back up into the mountains as we play our fourth game of the tournament.  This morning we had the opportunity to visit a local orphanage.  What a wonderful time to love on so many different children.  The children in this home either have no parents, their parents are in jail, or they were brought to this country illegaly for some sort of slave type operation.  The court systems have sent them to this home and it is the only home like it in all of Beirut.  We played soccer and basketball with the children but mostly we just loved them the way Jesus does.  Please continue to pray that we can be the hands and feet of Jesus in all the places that we go.  God Bless,  AIA Lebanon Team!!!!!

Wow Myles, 31 points?!? Glad you are maintaining your strength and energy. What an exciting opportunity to spend time with God's children in the orphanage. I'm sure it meant a lot for them to have such great guys to spend time with.

My prayers are out to you all in Lebanon.

    Miss you Myles!

I'm thankful that the games are going well and the team is staying healthySmile I would have loved to visit the orphanage wuth the team; what a difference kind words and comfort can bring to a child. I'm sure it gave them hope that there is love and stability for them. God bless and we are praying for you all. Because of Him, Leona
